Peter Brian Gabriel (born 13 February 1950) is an English singer-songwriter, musician, songwriter, record producer and humanitarian who rose to fame as the original lead singer and flautist of the progressive rock band Genesis. Gabriel left Genesis in 1975, and then began a solo career with “Solsbury Hill” as his first single.

So is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, released on 19 May 1986 by Charisma Records and Virgin Records. It was produced by Daniel Lanois and contained the singles “Sledgehammer”, “Big Time”, “In Your Eyes” and “Don’t Give Up”, a duet with Kate Bush.
