The 45’s were a New wave / powerpop band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The line- up was John Warrener – guitar, vocals, Philip Johnstone – piano, organ, vocals , Jamie Wood – bass, vocals , Paul Metcalfe – drums, vocals and Mick Blowfield – saxophone.
“Couldn’t Believe A Word” is the debut single by New Wave Powerpop band The 45’s, released on Chopper Records in 1979.
