Promises (were a Canadian based rock pop group which was founded 1978 in Thousand Oaks, California and disbanded in 1979. The Knauer family’s ancestry stemmed from Hamburg, Germany.
“Baby It’s You” is the debut single released on EMI Records in 1978 by Promises, a Canadian Pop/Rock band.
