The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. The original line-up was vocalist Mick Jagger, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, guitarist Keith Richards, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts. After Brian Jones death, Mick Taylor replaced him and he in turn was replaced by Ronnie Wood. Bill Wyman later retired and Charlie Watts passed away in 2021.
“Let’s Spend the Night Together” is a song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and originally released by the Rolling Stones as a double A-sided single together with “Ruby Tuesday” in January 1967. It also appears as the opening track on the American version of their album Between the Buttons. The song has been covered by various artists, including David Bowie in 1973.
