Blackfoot is an American Southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, United States, formed during 1969. Though they primarily play with a Southern rock style, they are also known as a hard rock act. The band’s classic lineup consisted of guitarist and vocalist Rickey Medlocke, guitarist Charlie Hargrett, bassist Greg T. Walker, and drummer Jakson Spires.
Vertical Smiles is the seventh studio album by Southern rock band Blackfoot.
It is the second and last album to feature former Uriah Heep keyboardist Ken Hensley and the first without guitarist Charlie Hargrett who left during the recording of the album over disagreements with the rest of the band and management.
