Prefab Sprout are an English pop band formed in County Durham by brothers Paddy and Martin McAloon with Neil Conti on drums and joined by vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player Wendy Smith in 1982.
Protest Songs is the fourth album by English pop band Prefab Sprout (though the third recorded). It was recorded in 1985, but was not released until 1989.
