Queen are a British rock band whose line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar). They were formed in London in 1970 and were originally known as Smile.
The Works is the eleventh studio album by British rock band Queen, released in February 1984.
