Robert Sylvester Kelly (born January 8, 1967) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Kelly was convicted of federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges stemming from decades of sexual abuse allegations involving minors. He has been credited with prolific success in both R&B and hip hop, earning nicknames such as “the King of R&B”, “the King of Pop-Soul”, and the “Pied Piper of R&B”. Kelly was well known in the United States for his music and performances.
“Bump n’ Grind” is a song written, produced, and performed by American singer-songwriter R. Kelly. It was released on January 28, 1994 by Jive Records, as the second single from his debut solo studio album, 12 Play (1993).
