Simple Minds are a Scottish rock band who achieved worldwide popularity from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s.
Two founder members are still in the band – Jim Kerr (vocals, songwriting) and Charlie Burchill (guitars, keyboards after 1990, other instruments, songwriting) Former members include bass guitarist Derek Forbes and keyboard player Michael MacNeil and drummer Mel Gaynor.
Real to Real Cacophony is the second studio album by Simple Minds, released in 1979. The album did not chart, nor did its only single, “Changeling”.
