Steely Dan is an American rock band founded by core members Walter Becker (guitars, bass, backing vocals) and Donald Fagen (keyboards, lead vocals) in 1972. Other members have been Jeff “Skunk” Baxter on guitar, Denny Dias on guitar, David Palmer on vocals, Jim Hodder on drums, Jeff Porcaro on drums, Michael McDonald on vocals and many more.
The Royal Scam is the fifth album by Steely Dan, originally released by ABC Records in 1976.
