The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They are known for being the most influential Rock/Pop band ever. Their manager was Brian Epstein and their producer was George Martin.

1962–1966 (widely known as “The Red Album“) is a compilation of songs by the English rock band The Beatles, spanning the years indicated in the title. It was released with its counterpart 1967–1970 (“The Blue Album”) in 1973.
