The Cure are an English rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex in 1976. The band has experienced several line-up changes, with vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Robert Smith being the only constant member. Other members have been Lol Tolhurst drums and keyboards, Simon Gallup bass guitar, Reeves Gabrels guitar, Michael Dempsey bass guitar, Porl Thompson guitar, Perry Bamonte guitar and Phil Thornalley bass guitar.
“Boys Don’t Cry” is a song by English rock band The Cure. It was released in the UK as a stand-alone single on 12 June 1979, and was included as the title track on Boys Don’t Cry, the American equivalent to Three Imaginary Boys.
