The Smiths were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1982. The band consisted of vocalist Morrissey, guitarist Johnny Marr, bassist Andy Rourke and drummer Mike Joyce.
Louder Than Bombs is a compilation album by English rock band The Smiths. It was released as a double album in March 1987 by their American record company, Sire Records and was then released in the UK in 1988 by Rough Trade Records.
