Please Warm My Weiner
(Yazoo Records 1974 L1043)
Sleeve in Good+ condition
– there is some tearing to the bottom right corner front and back and a split on the bottom spine
Vinyl in Nr MINT condition
(there are some surface marks visible on the vinyl when held up to the light but they don’t affect the sound quality apart from the odd light pop/crackle – the original source recordings have some crackles)
This compilation contains Blues with rather frivolous lyrical content recorded between 1928 and 1935.
“Hokum” is an old Vaudeville term that the New York Times once defined as “a brand of fun bordering on vulgarity and quite obvious.”
