Yes are an English rock band formed in London in 1968 by singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford. guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White and keyboardist Rick Wakeman joined soon after. Other members have been keyboardist Geoff Downes, singer Jon Davison, guitarist Trevor Rabin, and bassist Billy Sherwood.

Going for the One is the eighth studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 1977 on Atlantic Records.
